Chiral Dynamics, Theory & Experiment : September 18-22, 2006, Chapel Hill North Carolina, USA
This workshop is the 5th in the series which started in 1994 at M.I.T. Other previous workshops were held at Mainz (1997), JLab (2000), and Bonn (2003). The 5th workshop will take place September 18th through the 22nd, 2006. The workshop will be hosted by Duke University (in association with Triangle Universities Nuclear Laboratory, TUNL). The purpose of this workshop series is to bring physicists together who are active in this field, as well as those who are interested, to discuss and debate the most recent and future developments in various topics related to the study of Chiral Dynamics. The workshop traditionally draws a near equal contribution from theorists and experimentalists.
Workshop Location & Accommodations
The workshop will be held at the William and Ida Friday Center in Chapel Hill. The accommodations will be provided by the Courtyard/Marriott of Chapel Hill. The hotel is across the street from the Friday Center at a walking distance. The workshop will start on the morning of september 18, 2006 and will end by noon on Friday, september 22nd. Daily lunch and coffee breaks will be at the Friday Center, whereas, the breakfast and dinner can be enjoyed at the hotel or restaurants around Chapel Hill ( free shuttle is available from the hotel).
Internet Access
Wireless internet connection will be available at the workshop site and the hotel. Limited number of computers will be available at the workshop site for users.
