Transportation from the Airport to the Hotel:

We will provide free bus transport from the airport to the hotel for the participants of the Chiral Dynamics 2006. The dates and frequency of the buses will be available at this site in early september. The bus service will not start any earlier than saturday afternoon (september 16th) and will end on sunday night (september 17th). If you plan on arriving here on monday, september 18th, please arrange for a taxi at the airport. Typical cost for a taxi from the airport to the hotel is US$ 40.

Transportation from the Hotel to the Airport:

We will provide free bus transport from the hotel to the airport starting on friday september 22nd at noon and ending at noon on saturday 23rd.

Transportation during your stay:

You will not need a car to go from the hotel to the conference center. The conference center is located across the street from the hotel. There will also be a free shuttle from the hotel to the Chapel Hill city on a regular basis. There are dining choices available within walking distance from the hotel, in addition to the hotel food service. For all other workshop organized trips away from the hotel and the conference center, we will provide free transportation.

Pre-Workshop Information:

The TUNL/HIGS pre-workshop will take place on saturday and sunday prior to the CD2006. The pre-workshop participation is by invitation only. The hotel for pre-workshop is the same as the CD2006 hotel. Please follow the link to the hotel web site for reservations at the hotel. Use the group code option at the hotel web site and use the group codes CHICHIA or CHICHIB to get special rates (same as Chiral Dynamics 2006). The pre-workshop sessions will take place at the same hotel. The pre-workshop program is available here. No registration is required for the pre-workshop. However, if you are attending both the pre-workshop and the Chiral Dynamics workshop, you need to register for the Chiral Dynamics workshop. Any questions, send email to compton@tunl.duke.edu.
