1. 12N(β+)12C Qm = 17.344

The half-life of 12N is 10.97 ± 0.04 msec: see Table 12.28 (in PDF or PS) in (68AJ02). 12N decays to 12C*(0, 4.44, 7.65, 10.3, 12.71, 15.11): see Table 12.24 (in PDF or PS).

2. 10B(3He, n)12N Qm = 1.569

Observed neutron groups are displayed in Table 12.26 (in PDF or PS) (ZA66, AD68B, BO70L, AD71D, FU74B). Angular distributions have been studied at E(3He) = 2.5 to 5.8 MeV (see (68AJ02)), at 11 MeV (BO70L: n0 and n to 12N*(5.3)) and at 12.5 and 13 MeV (FU74B: to states shown in Table 12.26 (in PDF or PS) except 12N*(2.4)). See also (CH70L).

3. 12C(p, n)12N Qm = -18.126

Ethresh. = 19.658 ± 0.005 (OV69).

At Ep = 50 MeV neutron groups are reported to 12N states at Ex = 0, 1.0 ± 0.1, 3.7 ± 0.2, 4.2 ± 0.2, 5.3 ± 0.2 and 7.5 ± 0.3 MeV [compare with Table 12.25 (in PDF or PS)]. Angular measurements have been measured at Ep = 30.5 and 49.5 MeV for the two most energetic groups (CL70). See also (JU69, AM70, WI70, WA73B, CA75A) and (68AJ02).

4. 12C(3He, t)12N Qm = -17.362

Triton groups observed at E(3He) = 49.8 MeV are shown in Table 12.27 (in PDF or PS) (BA68KK, BA69F). Angular distributions of inelastically scattered 3He to 12C*(15.11, 16.11, 16.58, 19.57) have been compared with those of the tritons to 12N*(0, 0.96, 1.19, 4.25). When the 3He cross sections are corrected for phase-space and isospin factors, the angular distributions are closely similar (to within 10%) to those for the triton groups, strongly suggesting isobaric analogues (BA69F). Angular distributions have also been studied at E(3He) = 217 MeV (WI74K: 0, 0.96, 3.53; partly resolved). See also (AR70E, PA73E).

5. 14N(p, t)12N Qm = -22.141

At Ep = 46 MeV triton groups are reported to 12N*(0, 0.97, 2.41, 3.50, 4.51, 5.13, 6.12, 7.13) (FO68A, TO68G, KI69B; abstracts). See also (KA71; theor.).

6. 16O(3He, 7Li)12N Qm = -22.058

See (DE71U).
