1. 13B(β-)13C

Qm = 13.437

The half-life of ¹³B is 17.33 ± 0.17 msec (WI71F), 17.6 ± 0.4 msec (MA62D): the mean value is 17.36 ± 0.16 msec (WI71F). This value leads to (ft)⁺/(ft)^- = 1.166 ± 0.026 (see ¹³O). The induced tensor coupling constant, g_IT = (2.6 ± 0.5) x 10^-3 (WI71F).

The branching ratios to various ¹³C states are shown in Table 13.2 (in PDF or PS) (MA62D, JO69E, AL74E): they indicate J^π = 1/2^- or 3/2^- for ¹³B_g.s.. See also (AL74) and (WI71K, WI72L, HA73M, KU73N, MA73W, TO73F, WI73D, CH74P, GR75, WI75D; theor.).

2. 7Li(7Li, p)13B

Qm = 5.966

Observed proton groups are shown in Table 13.3 (in PDF or PS) (MO59E, CA63D, WY72). Angular distribution measurements have been reported by (CA69B; p₀, p₁₊₂, p₃₊₄, p₅, p₇). The lifetimes of ¹³B*(3.53, 3.71, 4.13) are, repectively, > 0.3, < 0.38 and 0.062 ± 0.050 psec: E_γ = 3536.3 ± 4.2 and 4133.4 ± 7.8 keV (TH69A). See also ¹⁴C.

3. 10Be(α, p)13B

Qm = -8.818

4. 11B(t, p)13B

Qm = -0.233

Observed proton groups are displayed in Table 13.3 (in PDF or PS). Angular distributions have been measured at E_t = 11 MeV (MI64E) and 23 MeV (AJ75A). See also (70AJ04) and (WI71A).

5. 14C(d, 3He)13B

Qm = -15.338

At E_d = 52 MeV angular distributions for ¹³B*(0, 3.7) have been reported (MA75Y).
