¹⁴Be has been observed in the 4.8 GeV proton bombardment of uranium; it is particle stable: see (76AJ04). Its atomic mass excess is calculated to be 40.69 MeV. ¹⁴Be is then bound by 2.73 and 0.55 MeV, respectively, with respect to decay into ¹³Be + n and ¹²Be + 2n (TH74).
