¹⁴Li has not been observed. The calculated mass excess is 72.29 MeV: see (81AJ01). ¹⁴Li is then particle unstable with respect to decay into ¹³Li + n and ¹²Li + 2n by 3.9 and 3.2 MeV, respectively [see, however, ¹³Li]. (85PO10) calculate [in a (0 + 1)h-barω model space] that the first four states of ¹⁴Li at 0, 0.75, 1.22 and 1.48 MeV have, respectively, J^π = 2^-, 4^-, 3^- and 1^-.
