This nucleus has not been observed. Its atomic mass excess is calculated to be 70.67 MeV: see (77AJ02). It is then unstable with respect to breakup into ¹⁶Be + n and ¹⁵Be + 2n by 3.38 and 3.35 MeV, respectively. See also (AN83D; theor.).
