¹⁹B has been observed in the bombardment of Be by 12 MeV/A ⁵⁶Fe ions (MU84E). It is suggested that the atomic mass excess of ¹⁹B is 60.1 MeV [see (78AJ03)]. ¹⁹B is then stable with respect to breakup into ¹⁸B + n by 1.8 MeV ¹⁷B + 2n by 0.1 MeV. ¹⁹B is calculated to have J^π = 3/2^- and to have excited states at 1.88, 3.63 and 3.77 MeV with J^π = 1/2^-, 5/2^- and 7/2^- (PO85F).
