20N (87AJ02)

(Not illustrated)

20N is particle stable. Its atomic mass excess is 21.64 ± 0.26 MeV (VI86D), 22.20 ± 0.36 MeV (GI86C), 21.62 ± 0.14 MeV (GI87B). We adopt 21.62 ± 0.14 MeV. 20N is then stable with respect to 19N + n by 2.32 MeV (see 19N). The half-life of 20N is 100+30-20 msec, Pn ~ 61% (MU87D; prelim.). See also (KL84A; theor.). See also (PI85, PI86C), (WI83H, HI84, AN86U, GU86H) and (AN83D; theor.).
