⁷H has not been observed. Attempts have been made to detect it in the spontaneous fission of ²⁵²Cf (82AL1C) and in the ⁷Li(π^-, π⁺) reaction [see (84AJ01)]. The ground state is calculated to have J^π = 1/2⁺ and to be unstable with respect to 1n, 2n, 3n and 4n emission. Excited states are predicted at 4.84, 5.00 and 6.96 MeV, with J^π = 3/2⁺ , 5/2⁺, and 5/2^- [(0 + 1)h-barω model space] and at 3.88, 3.94 and 5.99 MeV with J^π = 3/2⁺, 5/2⁺ and 1/2⁺ [(0 + 2)h-barω model space] (85PO10).
