HTML Documents for Nuclides, A = 3 - 20

The HTML for Nuclides Project is an ongoing project. HTML documents for A = 3 - 20 nuclides provide HTML documents for each individual nuclide within the mass chains of A = 3 - 20 found in the FAS and TUNL publications spanning the years 1959-present. Along with the production of the HTML documents, we are also creating PDF and PS formats of the tables, as well as GIF, PS and PDF formats of the Energy Level Diagrams contained in each publication. At the present time, HTML documents exist for the the FAS and TUNL publications from 1970 - present, and earlier publications will be added soon.

The HTML is similar to the PDF documents we provide for the TUNL and FAS publications. The HTML documents, however, expand beyond the features of our PDF documents by including more features and links (such as hyperlinks to the NSR database, tables, figures, reaction discussions, etc.) in order to make it more interactive and navigable. Please keep in mind that when viewing the HTML documents, any hyperlink within the HTML text corresponding to earlier publications may not yet be available. As stated above, HTML documents currently exist for nuclides in the TUNL and FAS publications for the years 1970 - present.

For the HTML, we have tried to the best of our ability to represent mathmatical and special characters in a reasonable way. You may also view the PDF document for that nuclide or mass chain if you do not wish to view the HTML. To do so, click on the menu button titled "Publications".

How the features in the HTML documents are set-up:

HTML documents for each nuclide from each TUNL or FAS publication from 1959 - present will be provided. Currently HTML documents for A= 3 - 20 are available for the publication years 1979 - present.
The HTML documents contain many links/hyperlinks for Tables, discussions, references, reactions, etc. Below is a list of what the hyperlinks relate to:

1. Links to figures/Energy Level Diagrams will be provided in GIF, PDF, or EPS/PS format (scanned energy level diagrams will be provided for older FAS publications). For example: (See Energy Level Diagrams for 12C), or (See the Isobar Diagram for 6H).

2. Links to Tables (in PostScript or PDF format) that are cited within the text, or cited from any other TUNL or FAS evaluation that is mentioned within the text will be provided. For example: See Table 12.1 (in PDF or PS), or See Table 12.10 in (80AJ01).

The tables that are in PDF format include hyperlinks for reactions, tables and references. Anything that is colored blue is a hyperlink. Just click on any blue item and it will link you to the corresponding information that is presented in the table.

3. Links to specific reactions and reaction discussions that are cited within the text, or cited from any other TUNL or FAS evaluation that is mentioned within the text. For example [excerpt taken from the HTML document for 12C from (90AJ01), reaction #10.]: See also 11B, 11C here, and (68AJ02, 75AJ02, 85AJ01).

4. Links will be provided for the references in 3 ways:

  • Any NSR reference (for example, 85WE08, cited within the text will have a link that will go directly to the NSR database. For example: (85WE08).
  • Any other TUNL or FAS key number reference (for example, 84DE1A or FI79) cited within the text will have a link that will go to an HTML database which will be similar to those in the PDF documents we provide. For example, [from 7Li (02TI10)]: (84DE1A), or [from 7Li (79AJ01)]: (BO74K).
  • Any TUNL or FAS evaluation/publication (for example, 84AJ01 or 92TI02) mentioned within the text will link directly to that evaluation's corresponding reaction and reaction discussion. Therefore in order to see a full citation for our (TUNL) or any of FAS publications please refer to the main page for the nuclide you are viewing and click on the References link.

5. Links will be provided for corresponding General Tables.

6. Links will be provided for corresponding PDF documents so that you can view both the HTML document of the nuclide and the PDF evaluation that the nuclide appears in.
