The Society of Physics Students chapters at Fisk University and Vanderbilt University are hosting a Zone 8 meeting for November 10th that will include separately organized poster and contributed talk sessions on Saturday morning. All students who present at one of the SPS sessions are eligible for an award which will be given to the best undergraduate presenter. Because of the necessity for judging, undergraduate students who present at the regular SESAPS sessions will not be eligible for this award. This is a good opportunity to show your work. If you missed the regular SESAPS deadline, try presenting in this session!
We also encourage that people planning on attending the Zone Meeting arrive early on Friday to attend the SEAPS Banquet. Registration for the banquet is completed separately, at a discounted rate for students, under the SEAPS Registration page.
To register for the Zone Meeting, download the Registration Form and follow its instructions.
To submit an abstract, please follow the downloadable instructions for submitting an abstract to the SPS sessions. The best abstracts that elect to perform oral presentations will be selected. The deadline is Wednesday, October 31st at midnight, but early submissions are appreciated.
A computer and computer projector (and overhead!?!?) will be available for your use during your talk.
