Under the direction of my advisor, Calvin Howell (future link here), I have become involved with a project at CEBAF (Continuous Electron Beam Accelerator Facility) which will measure the magnetic form factor of the neutron. The electromagnetic form factors (electric and magnetic) are just the Fourier transforms of the charge and current distributions in the nucleon which arise from the inherent quark substructure. In a nutshell, this measurement will help to develop a complete theory of hadron structure.
