MSQLD
MSQLD can be started on the PC type DAQ computers by one
of the two following methods:
- Use catmaster to activate the msqld daemon.
NOTE : Only one
MSQLD process is allowed at a time. If you click on the icon once
and nothing happens, MSQLD is already active.
- Alternatively, you can open an XTERM on the daq computer and
start the MSQLD (just type msqld on the command prompt).
On the Sun MicroSystems, MSQLD is started by default at system boot.
