Comments on content of OPTIC II disk. J. D. Larson, 10-Oct-99 Version B36.4 of the OPTIC II program contains modifications which permit generation of plot files that may be viewed using the enclosed program OPLOT. For a quick demonstration, execute the following RUN line: OPTIC EXAMPLE 001 Batch file OPTIC.BAT first executes program OPT364.EXE to process data file EXAMPLE.DAT and create a plot file (PLOT.001). Next, program OPLOT364.EXE reads the plot file and creates a display. Once the display is visible, try pressing various keys such as Z (zoom), arrows (cursor), Page Down (next plot), etc. Press H (help) to identify more options (consult OPLOT.DOC for detailed information). To exit, press Esc (escape) or Q (quit). [If the screen ever fails to return properly to text mode, execute program TEXTBACK.] This disk also contains files in compressed (.LZH) form which may be extracted using enclosed program LHARC.EXE: LHARC L Filename.LZH { to list contents } LHARC E Filename.LZH *.* { to extract files } Initiate extraction from within the destination directory.
