Welcome to Qiang (Alan) Ye's homepage!

I am in the Department of Physics, Duke University. My advisor is Prof. Haiyan Gao and I am currently working on the neutron Electric Dipole Moment (nEDM) experiment. The possible existence of nEDM is of great fundamental interest and directly impacts our understanding of the nature of Electro-Weak(EW) and strong interactions. It is also a direct search of the time reversal symmetry (T) violation, which is a unique way of search for CP (charge conjugation C and parity P) violation because of CPT invariance. This experiment has the potential of lowering the current best experimental limit by 2 orders of magnitude.
